Well the decision has finally been made. I'm sure that we will add more stuff throughout the year but this is the main list. I have subjects listed based on our workbox set-up.
Bible - Awana
Math - Abeka
Language Arts - Lifepac (this is a full language arts program but you will notice that I also have extra materials for parts of the Language Arts curriculum) When we did testing last year, K scored great on all subjects except Language Arts so we are hitting this hard this year.
Scholastic Grammer Practice workbook
History - Heritage Studies from Bob Jones
Health - Abeka (Mon & Wed)
Reading - 6th Grade Abeka Reader and Library Books
Science - Exploring Creation with Astronomy
Spanish - Various Workbooks/Websites (Tues & Thurs)
Spelling - Spectrum Spelling 6
Vocabulary - 2 Scholastic Workbooks - 25 Nonfiction Passages with Vocabulary-Building Crosswords and
No Boring Practice Vocabulary
Writing - Spectrum Writing 6 and Scholastic Writing and Grammer
Geography - Trail Guide through the US
We will also be using Time4learning to help with practice and review of all subjects and trying some Unit Studies this year.
As I said I'm sure we will be adding/changing this as the year goes on. I am very excited about the choices this year.
